In this article, I'm going to tell you about a very fascinating tourist destination in Hazara Division near Oghi Town, which is called Machai Sar Meadows.
Machai Sar or Machai Peak is the highest peak of Torghar mountain at an altitude of 9,755 feet from the Mean sea level. Machai Sar Meadows is located northwest of Oghi Town of Mansehra District, near Machai Dhanda or Danda. The conference was less popular because it was located in the remote area of Mansehra where guests or invited guests often visited. However, if you visit here you will be fascinated by the lush jungle, cold climate, and spectacular scenery, in addition to being easily accessible.

It is a wonderful place for tourists. in fact, the Machai Sar Meadows is used as a cricket ground especially for Eid Occasions by locals. In September 2020 I visited the area in a Jeep rented from Oghi Town and arrived here after an hour and a half journey from Oghi.
When you get to Oghi then rent a Jeep rented at the main bakkie station. Follow the road called Dilbori Road or Batagram Road to North Oghi from the main Melad Chowk. On the 200-meter journey, you will see FC Fort also has a history here in Oghi. As soon as you leave Oghi, you will see the green hills, fields, rows of trees, and the mountains around this beautiful Oghi city. The small villages near the road are Rashida, Dairan, Manchora, Trawra, Jiskot, Ghana, and Dilbori and after this hilly area begins, as soon as you climb the summit while driving the winding road around the hill you will see it all. Agror Valley as a green carpet laid on the ground surrounded by high mountains over Oghi like Serigoria mountain with Chotigat Peak, Kathai Mountains, Khabbal Mountains, Sosal Gali, and Torghar Mountain.
When you finish climbing this hill rather than seeing a small trail between the hills this is called Gali in the local language from here turn left towards Chorkalan. This road is called Chorkalan Road. Now you are starting on the highway, It is the beginning of a popular hiking trail for local people who do not use motorbikes. If you have not bought drinks for your trip yet, buy them here you can find all the items here like food or other bakery items, water, and more you will not find food at Machai Sar Medows without a cup of tea when you get there before 3:00 PM, otherwise, it is only Chai Daba will be closed.

After an hour's drive, you will arrive at Jirgano Dab and the Machai Sar hotel. Here is a small grocery store and Tea Daba, with a few houses scattered across beautiful little hills, plains, and valleys. Now start the 500-meter trek toward the Machai Sar Meadows, after which you will surely be amazed at the spectacular views of the lush green landscapes, grassy areas, and beautiful scenery. When you get to the top you can also see District Batagram, Nanga Parbat Peak, Musa ka Musalla, Sukai Sar, Toshe Ri I, and Kaghan Valley facing North-East. It is similar to the Indus River (Indus river also known as Abaseen in Pakhto / Pashto) and Torghar District in your West.
I invite you to visit Machai Sar of Torghar and see the nature within us in this beautiful land of Pakistan. Check it out and share it with others.
Machai Sar Meadows does not have advanced infrastructure such as accommodation, restaurants, or any other entertainment area. It may be necessary for the KPK government or Torghar district administration to focus on development planning work so that visitors can start relocating and earn good money to do other development work to start other projects, such as basic necessities and entertainment inclusion. in this area, at least a carpeted road is urgently needed for construction so that visitors can easily get in.
Although Machai Sar has more Hight than Thandiani and Nathia Gali and the environment is still organic but due to small developments and few markets, people do not even know Machai Sar Meadows ’dream.
Good luck and best wishes
