K2 or Godwin Austin:

K2 is the second-highest mountain peak and a wonder of nature in Pakistan. K2 is also called Godwin Austen. K2 is among the 14 natural wonders of the world in the shape of mountains having more than 8000 meters in altitude. It is 8,611 meters (28,251 feet) above sea level. It is the highest mountain on Earth, after Mount Everest. It is located in the Karakoram region, somehow in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. The K2 is now shaken around its edges as usual. Although the fate of Everest is very high K2 is a very difficult and dangerous year due to inclement weather.

In the twentieth century, the peak was renamed Killer Mountain because of the high mortality rate in the highlands of Pakistan. Extreme help in all its forms creates this barrier as a deterrent.

Gasherbrum:

It is a group of peaks in the Karakoram ranges located northeast of Baltoro Glacier in Gilgit Baltistan on the border of China. The Gasherbrum group of peaks comprises three peaks with more than 8000 meters in height. These are Gasherbrum I at 8080 meters, Broad Peak at 8051 meters, and Gasherbrum II at 8035 meters heights.

The height of other peaks in the Gasherbrum group is below 8000 meters like Gasherbrum III at 7952 meters, IV at 7925 meters, V at 7147 meters, VI at 6979 meters, VII at 6955 meters, and Gasherbrum Twins at 6912 meters and 687 meters.

Masherbrum K1:

This peak is known as the most challenging Alpine peak on Earth. This Pakistani peak is located in the Ghanche district of Gilgit-Baltistan in the Karakoram ranges. Streams from these peaks flow into the Arabian Sea. This peak is 7,821 feet high. Masherbrum is 22th tallest peak in the world and the 9th tallest in Pakistan. This peak has the height and openness of Everest; However, the details of this climb are sad.

Similarly, sinking becomes more difficult as there is less data, including risks, indicators, or risks. Slides with dangerous floods and slippery snow and rising temperatures make efforts difficult.

Batura I:

Batura I of  Batura Muztagh a sub-range of Karakoram is situated in the Gojal region of Hunza valley in Gilgit Baltistan. Batura I is the 25th highest peak in the world at 7795 meters.

This mountain peak exceeds 7707 meters above sea level. It is one of the highest mountain peaks in Pakistan and is the highest in the Hindukush range. The peak of this is in the Chitral region, in the province of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. The Norwegian endeavor team was fortunate enough to reach its peak for the first time in 1950.

The spectacular views of the summit ignore the central market of Chitral. The peak derives the name of the novel from a nearby town called Tirich in the area where it is located. With narrow streets and trails following an impressive route, the road to Tirich Mir can be extremely dangerous. The ravines found in various places on the Tirch Mir tour are very deep and dangerous.

Its southern and eastern part is situated in Pakistan and the northern and western part is situated in Afghanistan. It is likewise the most noteworthy top in Afghanistan. Its level is 7,492 meters. This peak was first time ascended by a Japanese expeditionary in 1960.

Summary of Mountain and Peaks tourism in Pakistan

Consistently many adventures and hikers visit Pakistan to ascend the above-mentioned summit, especially the tops having more than 8000 meters in height. Pakistan tourism development corporation should redirect the flux of hikers and trekkers to the next best places to visit in Gilgit Baltistan as well as across the country for sustainable tourism.

Pakistan can grow its mountain and peak tourism by providing good infrastructure, amenities like the best hotels, the best place to live, and the best flight deals up to the base camp of the multitude of above tops. Moreover, Pakistan has the best places to travel for worldwide sightseers, especially in the northern area with simple access.

In my opinion, train, road, and airplane transport is a beautiful option to improve the region's connectivity with the rest of the country. In this regard, the Pakistan railways ML-1 railway project needed to execute on a priority basis to extend the rail track to the Khunjrab border. It is pertinent to mention that the ML1 railway project is included in CPEC (a pilot project of China's Built and Road Initiative reminiscent of the Silk Road).
